RIBA Enterprises Ltd is the knowledge management business of the Royal Institute of British Architects. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the RIBA, our role is to profitably develop and deliver high quality products and services to support the construction industry. We do this under two different brands; NBS and RIBA.
NBS is at the forefront of the global movement towards Building Information Modelling (BIM), and our tools are relied upon by over 94% of the AJ Top 120 practices. Through NBS we offer our market-leading specification products which include NBS Create, NBS Building and the government-backed NBS BIM Toolkit. We also deliver product information services on behalf of construction product manufacturers to specifiers. Our knowledge tools include the Construction Information Service which provides full access to essential regulations and standards for construction products.
The RIBA-branded products we deliver include the RIBA Journal, which promotes and questions the best of architecture. The RIBA Bookshop stocks a huge range of specialist books both online and in the stunning central London shop, while RIBA Publishing publishes our own titles that meet the needs of the construction industry, as well as the UK building regulations on behalf of the government. We also support architectural practices in recruiting new architects through RIBA Appointments.
